This month, we've got a lot to celebrate! Join us on Saturday, July 19th from 1-4 PM at the Playground Theater (3209 N. Halsted St.) for our 1st Anniversary session! Bring your sketchbook and join the revels with our two gorgeous models, Salome Slaughter and Cherish, the Burlesque Goddess! The fee is $10 and the session is BYOB. Salome Slaughter can be seen in comic form in the Tim Seeley drawn Murder Suicide issue of Hack/Slash, which is going to be released this summer. She has performed locally with Varietease Cabaret and toured with the Suicide Girls burlesque show. She will also appear this summer in The Wizard of Gore, starring Crispin Glover, released August 19th.

Cherish the Burlesque Goddess is a snake dancer, burlesque performer, artist & fetish model. In addition to her numerous burlesque credits, she has also appeared in Velocity, Fetish, Skin Two and Playboy Magazine (albeit clothed), and in the pages of photo books by Steve Diet Goedde, Martin Raphael Class and Lee Higgs.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our last session, which unexpectedly met at the local library after our usual space turned out to be double booked. Our artists rose to the occasion, and got some great drawings of our models, Pearl Pistol and Naughty Natanya.
